Cognitive psychology taught in games

The folks at NASA have developed five online games to teach some principles of cognitive psychology. The games deal primarily with factors that influence short term memory. Check out the game to use in helping students develop strategies for learning.

For example, the game on interference creates awareness of memory inhibitors.  And I’ve seen the recognition activity used in journalism classes to awaken students to how little they pay attention.
